Head of Bectu Philippa Childs urges the Chancellor to take on board unions’ recommendations to end the exclusion of millions of freelancers from government income support packages, and set out a new deal for freelancers and the self-employed for the future.
Philippa Childs, head of Bectu, has written a letter to the Chancellor, urging him to support live events workers, venues and companies until restrictions are lifted and events are back.
